Java Developer-(Java, Low Latency, Real-time, Electronic Trading, Equity, Fixed Income)-London-Circa 90,000 + significant bonus package
Tier 1 Investment bank known for their pioneering approach and global remit are seeking a highly ambitious and exceptionally educated Java Developer to work on one of their next generation electronic trading platforms. Significant growth in the electronic Trading Interest Rates area has lead to huge investment in the team and its infrastructure, where the Java developer will be constantly interacting with senior colleagues on a day to day basis.
The Java Developer will be required to work within a high pressured, fast paced environment that wants to engage with all aspects of the business.
A highly skilled Java Developer who can demonstrate their leadership ability and take the team forward is of vital importance.
The successful Java Developer will have experience in:
-Java,
-Electronic Trading,
-Object Orientated design,
-Front office experience,
-Low Latency.
Responsibilities for Java Developer:
-This is an exciting greenfield project, starting from scratch to develop a next generation electronic trading system,
-You will have had exposure to the likes of smart order routing, crossing/internalization of order flow, order management, low latency electronic trading, exchange connectivity, FIX protocol, real-time market data.
The person:
-Independent self-starter with,
-Good oral and written communication skills,
-Multitask and work effectively under pressure to deadlines.
Primarily, an exceptionally Java Developer with experience of working in an electronic trading team would be most ideal for the client.
The ability to work closely with senior figures and take responsibility for the next generation platform is also important.
This is an exciting, Greenfield project that should be of interest to all those with a keen knowledge and interest algorithmic trading systems.
